
The topic of worthiness has been on my mind for many weeks. There isn’t a person who hasn’t felt unworthy at some point in their lives and that includes Kings, Queens, rich, poor, famous... We have all been there not feeling good enough and some of us have made a habit of it. I am not saying it in a condescending or accusing way as not being good enough was one of my top limiting beliefs for many years.
It is not possible to always feel wonderful and that is not a goal. Everybody goes through ups and downs, everybody has moments of doubt, insecurity, feeling like where they are at the moment is too much. There is nothing wrong with that. We need to be challenged in order to evolve. We came here to grow, to expand, which wouldn’t happen if everything in our lives was perfect. Contrast is good, it is ok to feel all kinds of emotions, but the longer we stay in negative emotions, the more they are going to impact our lives. Learning how to quicker go back to the feelings of love, joy, peace and freedom is a very important skill that anyone can practice and improve by paying attention to their thoughts, feelings and actions and changing them. We think all the time, it would be impossible to be constantly aware of all our thoughts, that’s why it is much easier to treat our feelings as a barometer. If we feel good, then that is great, we can continue as we are, but if we do not, then that is our indication that are thoughts are out of alignment. We can then go to them and make necessary changes.
All of us are energy, we are vibrational beings and we are affected by everything around us including stories that we hear, what we see on television, by events in our lives and other people’s energy, mainly our loved ones. That’s why it is so important to be mindful of what we take in, what we expose ourselves to and what we focus on. By being committed to observing our feelings and persevering at changing our thoughts, we can get better and better at maintaining our own frequency.
Caring about how we feel and making our alignment to Source our top priority is one of the most significant, if not the most significant things that we can do for ourselves, for our happiness, peace and freedom.
Some might say that it is selfish to put oneself first, which couldn’t be further from the truth. I am not going to get into too much detail here as I wrote a whole blog post about it, but it is important to understand that there is nothing selfish in making sure that you are happy, that you live your life the way you want to live it, in caring about your own feelings and making sure they are aligned with who you really are, with love. As a consequence you might say no to others, spend less time with people who do not resonate with you or simply want to be on your own more often. The more in tune you are with your Truth, then the more intuitive you are going to be knowing what is best for you, your energy and your happiness.
Learning to like and eventually love ourselves is the most important thing that we can do. When we are happy, when we love ourselves and our lives, we are going to be much nicer to be around, our energy will be different, its frequency will be higher which will have a positive impact on other people and on our lives.
We came here to be happy and to enjoy our lives. We came here to love and to be loved.
There are still so many of us who think that we have to accomplish something in order to be worthy or that we are sinners unworthy of God’s love, support and protection and we will never get there no matter how hard we try. God, Source is pure, unconditional love. It doesn’t judge, blame or hate. We do not need to be anybody else in order to be or feel worthy. We are powerful beings and it is our birthright to feel worthy. How could we be unworthy if we already are part of Source?
It is only us that can put limits on ourselves. We can blame others or external circumstances, but it is always our choice how we feel, how we react and who we decide to be in every moment of our lives.
A few days ago one of amazing Abraham Hicks fifteen minute videos found me. I loved how it was explained that a feeling of humility is vibrationally opposite to worthiness. When we start feeling humble we put a wedge between who we really are and who we think we are. We are extensions of Source and by feeling humble we assert that we are less powerful and deserving than we truly are.
We give our power away far too often. The reasons are various and might include pressure, demands and expectations from our parents, teachers, peers, partners, religion, culture and many others. The expectations and playing small might simply be a result of our own guilt, feelings of inadequacy, inferiority, limiting beliefs, fear..., the list goes on. Let’s be honest, in general we are not encouraged to feel worthy, we are not taught that loving ourselves is crucial and that happiness should be our priority. We are not shown how to truly love ourselves and others and how to be our authentic selves, which is absolutely essential as worthiness means being who we really are.
There is no better time than now to make a decision to change and be an authentic version of ourselves. For far too long we have lived our lives according to other people’s expectations and we have been too scared to be our true selves. Who we truly are is far bigger than we can imagine. We are extensions of Source’s energy, powerful creators of our lives, absolutely amazing and unlimited beings.
Do you feel worthy? Do you live your life as your authentic self? Are you happy? Only you can answer these questions and only you can change your life. Do not think that you are not in charge, because you are. Everything in your life has been created by you, by your thoughts, feelings, actions and decisions.
It is never too late to change. Take some time for yourself, go to your heart and check with yourself whether where you are is where you want to be. If not, what is standing between who you are now and who you want to be? What if today was your last day on Earth. Would you feel happy and fulfilled? Would you leave knowing that you have accomplished what you wanted, that you have been true to yourself, that you have lived your life as your authentic self from your heart, with courage, confidence and freedom and treated yourself and others with love and kindness? If not, are you going to do something about it?
You have got all that you need in you in order to change your life. If you have had enough of being scared, playing small and feeling unworthy, then this is your time to step into your power, be who you truly are, honest to yourself, in love with life and living it with courage, in freedom, peace, happiness and love. You are so worth it.
Remember that you are never on your own, you are always guided and loved unconditionally, but you need to believe it, be open to it and raise your frequency in order to receive it. 💜
