Trust Part 1

Trust doesn’t happen in a day, it is built gradually through self-discovery, inner work and trial and error. For some it takes a few years, for others a few decades, but some might never be ready to fully surrender to who we really are, to love, to Source within us.

Everybody on the journey of self-discovery, growth and change knows that in order to achieve something, not through hard labour and striving but through surrender, we need to let go of the need to control, plan, force and expect how and when something is going to happen. Letting go of control after years of thinking, feeling and behaving certain way is definitely not easy. It seems almost illogical to let some force take over when for a long time it has been drilled into us that nothing will happen if we do not take things into our own hands, plan, push, compete and work very hard.

It takes an enormous amount of will to be different, to go against everything that we have been taught and not to follow the crowd. From my own experience I have to say that it might not be easy, but it is certainly worth it. Letting go and trusting the Truth within us doesn’t mean giving our power away. We actually take our power back when we connect to Source, when we trust It and fall in love with It. We step into who we really are and become unlimited and powerful creators of our lives. It is hard to describe in words this feeling of becoming one with love, becoming who we really are. Like Dr Joe Dispenza says, it is the most familiar, unfamiliar feeling.

The decision is always ours, whether we want to stay where we are or dare to be different and create our live from our heart with full trust and love for Source. We can try to go back and forth for a while, but there comes a point when we will need to decide whether we want to carry on holding to a steering wheel or whether we are ready to surrender.

Surrendering does not mean waiting for something to happen without doing anything at all simply hoping and wishing for prayers to be answered. A lot of inner work needs to be carried out in order for trust to be established and to be felt with our entire being.

First we need to find out who we really are and what is important to us. We need to get to know ourselves and work through all the things that do not serve us in order to become the person we came here to be. Without doing the inner work, without gradually changing everything that is not love in us, we cannot reach our full potential.

The more inner work that we do and the more we know who we truly are, the more we are going to believe in ourselves. The belief in ourselves is fundamental to trust, trust in ourselves and in Source. The more we discover about our true nature that is love and the more we understand and remember how amazing and unlimited we truly are, the more often we are going to create our lives connected to Source. Synchronicities will become a normal part of our day and the more examples we have of things magically and effortlessly coming together for us, the stronger our belief and trust will become. We will do our meditation every day not out of obligation, we will not treat it as a chore, but as something that we love doing, something that is a part of us, a part of our lives, something that brings us closer to who we really are, to love. Every time we do the work and choose ourselves, we will be loved into life. When we do our meditation from our heart, when we add meaning and intention to it, the results will get exponentially better.

Maintenance of that state the whole day is what really matters. It is easy to be filled with love and trust when we meditate, but doing it with our eyes open for the rest of the day while facing challenges is the ultimate aim. All the guilt, judgment, blame, resentment, unworthiness, victimhood, fear, anger, frustration and so on, have to go. It doesn’t mean that we need to become saints. We came here to experience and to feel everything that is there to feel. It is about making a decision to change, catching ourselves while thinking, feeling and behaving certain way and changing it to love. It is not staying in these negative emotions, shortening the refractory period, loving ourselves enough to carry on and to become more of the love that we truly are.

The more effort and heart we put in, the greater the belief and trust there is going to be in ourselves and in Source and the more worthy we are going to feel 💜
